Christmas 2010

We had many wonderful Christmas celebrations over the past several days. So blessed to spend time with family, exchange gifts and reflect on the birth of our Lord and Savior. Glory to God in the highest!!

I love this picture taken at the Arnold Family Gathering the Saturday before Christmas.

My in-laws came up on Christmas Eve to exchange gifts with us and enjoy lunch together. It was a lovely day!

This was our birthday present to Pierce.

For the past few years, I've been making photo calendars for all the grandparents and reportedly, it is one of their favorite gifts each year. It takes a bit of time, but it's well worth it!

Pierce got a globe from Grandma & Granddaddy.

On Christmas Eve evening, Kirsten and Keith hosted us for dinner. It was really nice to be together.

We sang to Pierce and let him blow out the Advent candles. :)

A fun twist on an old favorite. I loved how these turned out!

Lots of fun pictures of our Christmas morning...

Shaun put this tape measure in his stocking and pulled it out saying "oh, how did you know?" It was pretty hilarious.

A new watch for me. :)

This could have been a cute picture...

The best picture of the two of them that we could get.

We hadn't planned to go to my folks' house until Sunday, but the snow made us change our plans. We were watching the weather closely and decided to go there after Reid's nap on Christmas Day. We played it by ear and felt like we could spend the night (17 people at my parents' house for the night--my whole family slept in one room and it worked out perfectly--the boys were great!) and leave on Sunday before the weather got too bad. The roads were fine the whole way home.

The beautiful babes (and look at those presents!!!)

The kids opened a few presents before bed (see craziness below) and then, the adults exchanged gifts while they were sleeping (that was nice!)

The kids finished opening on Sunday morning.

We were SO spoiled this year by everyone (as usual)! And I can't believe that it's all over. :( So much work and prep and planning and then, it's over so quickly! But, Shaun is off all week and we are really enjoying lots of great family time! The icing on the cake. :)
